2. Grafting propagation: select healthy pitaya stems, then cut them off and insert them into rootstocks with good growth conditions. After insertion, you need to tie them tightly with a rope to prevent them from falling off. After that, grafting can be successful in about 4 days at 28-30℃.

Second, the maintenance method 1. Temperature: Because it likes high temperature, the annual average temperature should be above 18℃. It is best not to let the temperature drop below 8℃ in winter.

2. Soil: weak alkaline soil is preferred, and it is best to plant it on soil with PH value between 7.0 and 8.0.

3. Moisture: Although it has certain drought tolerance, it can't grow normally without enough moisture. During its growing period, it needs to be watered frequently to ensure that it has enough water to grow.

4. Lighting: It likes sunshine very much and can accept sunshine. In a certain range, the stronger the sunshine, the faster the growth and the faster the accumulation of nutrients.

5. Fertilization: Its growth needs sufficient nutrient support. Before the growth period, it needs sufficient nitrogen fertilizer to help plants grow rapidly. Before the flowering period, it should apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to help it change from vegetative growth to reproductive growth, bloom more flowers and bear more fruits.
