A short talk about Mid-Autumn Festival
1, the noon festival has arrived, and our whole family is enjoying the moon in the yard. The moon is round like a big jade plate. Dad tells you the story of "the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon" and "Monkeys Catch the Moon". Mother brought moon cakes and tea. Moon cakes are round, fragrant and sweet. We drink tea and eat moon cakes.
It's getting late, the round moon brings joy to people, and the fifteenth moon symbolizes happiness and reunion. Our whole family has a happy smile on their faces.
Mid-Autumn Festival today is August 15, and it is also one of the traditional festivals in China.
In the evening, my family enjoyed the moon together. My mother brought me a big plate of moon cakes. My mother asked me to share them. I gave them to my grandfather, my father and my mother, and finally gave them to me. We enjoy the moon while eating moon cakes. Mom is still telling stories. I like Mid-Autumn Festival!
The moon in Mid-Autumn Festival is round and bright, like a big disk, hanging high in the dark blue sky.
My parents and I sat on the balcony, eating moon cakes and enjoying the moonlight. When I was a child, I heard my parents talk about Mid-Autumn Festival: At that time, on 8 15, people began to clean the courtyard early in the morning and prepare offerings.
The offerings are: moon cakes and melons and fruits. Melons and fruits mainly include: apples, pears, dates and watermelons. Watermelon is deliberately left, because the western homonym is happy, watermelon is round, seedy and red, which means that the whole family is round, prosperous and happy, and many children are blessed.
Looking at mom and dad's way of talking with relish, I suddenly remembered a poem by Wang Wei: "I miss my relatives twice during the festive season." Happy holidays to my relatives in my hometown!
This afternoon, my mother and I went to my aunt's house, because my grandmother spent the Mid-Autumn Festival at her aunt's house. After dinner, we sat on the balcony, eating moon cakes and enjoying the moon. In the dark night sky, there is a bright moon hanging in the night sky like a big jade plate. I saw many shadows on the moon, just like the legend of WU GANG cutting down trees in fairy tales. This scene makes me so happy.
This is my Mid-Autumn Festival.
