Analysis of the present situation of machinery manufacturing industry

The informatization construction of China's machinery manufacturing enterprises is starting, and has shown certain results, but its application scale, scope and depth are still far behind those of developed countries. Current situation of industry informatization

According to the investigation results of 166 machinery manufacturing enterprises, the characteristics of China's machinery manufacturing industry and the informatization development of foreign machinery manufacturing enterprises, China Machinery Industry Federation analyzed the present situation and existing problems of informatization construction of China's machinery manufacturing enterprises: 70% of key enterprises applied CAD technology; During the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, the popularization rate of CAD application in 50 demonstration enterprises reached 93%, and the CAD drawing rate of leading products reached 98%. However, the depth of CAD application is still very limited. A considerable number of enterprises stay in drawing, and 3D CAD, CAD/CAM, simulation design and other applications are less. Among the 166 enterprises surveyed, only 16% has carried out structural optimization calculation, and only 6% has carried out simulation design.

Some progress has been made in management informatization. Most enterprises in the industry have realized the computer management of office, finance, personnel and inventory, and established their own computer management information system. Quite a few enterprises have started to apply MRPII/ERP software. Of the 166 enterprises surveyed, 63 have been applied, of which 23% are used for financial cost management, 17% for supply and marketing management, 17% for inventory management, 15% for production management and 4% for decision support.

Enterprises that successfully apply MRP II/ERP have obvious benefits, such as shortening the procurement cycle by 60%, reducing the occupation of inventory funds by 25%, and improving the cost accounting efficiency by more than 50 times. However, judging from the overall situation of manufacturing enterprises, the application of MRP II/ERP is not extensive, even if it has been applied, it is still out of touch with modern enterprise management mode, and the success rate is not high enough.

The application of CIMS has achieved results in some enterprises. Among the 20/kloc-0 CIMS application demonstration engineering enterprises in China, mechanical enterprises account for about 1/5. Enterprises that have successfully applied CIMS have obviously improved their comprehensive competitiveness. From more than 50 accepted enterprises, the development cycle of new products has been shortened by 1/3 ~ 1/2, the capital occupied by inventory has been reduced by 20%, the output value has increased by 50%~ 100%, and the number of managers has been reduced by 1/5 ~ 65433.

The automation of production management and process control has been improved. Flexible production line, automatic production line, automatic inspection line, modern logistics system, three-dimensional warehouse and other manufacturing process automation have been applied in enterprises with good basic conditions, which has improved the automation and rapid response ability of enterprise production process. However, the input-output ratio is not ideal and has not played its due role.

Problems existing in the implementation of informatization in machinery manufacturing enterprises

The scope and level of enterprise informatization are not wide enough. Some machinery enterprises have successfully implemented informatization with the help of CAD application, but they are still in the stage of "throwing away the drawing board". Not many enterprises use CAD/CAM technology based on 3D product model, and even fewer enterprises realize integrated application of CAD/CAPP/CAM. Compared with the successful application of CAD, computer-aided management is relatively backward. Although it has been applied in single management such as finance and personnel, and achieved certain results, few enterprises have successfully realized MRP II/ERP, and there is still a long way to go for enterprises to realize internal and external information integration.

The benefits of implementing enterprise informatization are not obvious enough. Although many enterprises have achieved considerable benefits through informatization, overall, compared with the capital, manpower and material resources invested, the results are not great enough. In the process of implementing informatization, some enterprises lack the overall demand analysis and feasibility study of informatization, and the application of information technology is not combined with business process optimization, which is not suitable for the production management mode of enterprises, and the comprehensive effect of enterprise informatization is not good.

Insufficient understanding of the long-term and complexity of informatization. Some enterprises are not prepared for the long-term and complexity of informatization construction, and the planning of informatization projects is not strong, and the input of manpower, financial resources and material resources is discontinuous, which often leads to the phenomenon of endless. The information environment is not mature enough. The overall level of social informatization in China is still very low, and many infrastructure and norms are not perfect, which also affects the development of enterprise informatization. For example, the development of information resources is repetitive, the information channels are not smooth, and the enjoyment of * * * is low. There is a lack of design and manufacturing software, management software and optimization software, software tool set and integrated application platform with independent intellectual property rights that can promote the rapid development of manufacturing industry. The self-developed capability maturity model for software of CAD/CAM/CAPP/CAE, PDM, ERP, APC, RTO and MES needs to be improved, and its market share is insufficient 15%. The relevant policies to promote enterprise informatization are not targeted and the support is not enough, which fails to really play a positive role in guiding enterprises to implement informatization.

Suggestions on Informatization of Machinery Manufacturing Industry

Because there are many professional industries and modes of production in the machinery manufacturing industry, the scale and management level of enterprises are different, the basic conditions for enterprises to implement informatization are different, and the problems to be solved are also different. Therefore, the implementation of informatization must proceed from the actual needs of enterprises and determine the scope, content and progress of informatization. To promote the informatization of machinery enterprises, we should adhere to the principles of government promotion, market orientation, enterprise subject and classified guidance, follow the principles of engineering, integration, enjoyment and benefit, closely combine with the actual situation of enterprises, combine with the reorganization of enterprise business and the transformation of enterprise production mode, and combine with the adjustment of industrial structure of machinery industry.

Enterprises should follow the following principles in the process of informatization.

Engineering Principle Enterprise informatization involves all aspects inside and outside the enterprise, and it is a complex system engineering in itself. Therefore, in the implementation, we should follow the principle of engineering, define the objectives and requirements, determine the implementation content and methods, formulate the implementation plan and progress, start with solving the bottleneck problem of enterprise production and operation, pay attention to practical results, and adopt advanced and mature technologies. The integration principle enterprise informatization contains many information technologies, involving various business fields of enterprises, and is often composed of multiple subsystems. Such as CAD, CAPP, CAM, MIS, FMS, PDM and other systems, only by integrating these systems, optimizing their configuration and working together can we give full play to the overall advantages of enterprise information systems. Because an enterprise includes all kinds of application systems, some systems are not highly automated and need manual intervention, and some functions are even completely completed by manual work, so the integration mentioned here includes automated systems, semi-automated systems and manual integration.
