Characteristics of Tourism Development in China

The National Institute of Economic Strategy, Tourism Research Center of China Academy of Social Sciences and Social Science Literature Publishing House jointly held the release and seminar of "Tourism Green Paper: Analysis and Forecast of Tourism Development in China in 2065 438+08-2065 438+09".

In the general report of the book, the author Song Rui pointed out that as Socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era, the contradiction between the people's growing need for a better life and the unbalanced development became more and more prominent, and the international community had more expectations for China when solving various world problems. Facing the new contradiction of social development and the new role on the international stage, tourism has also entered a critical period of turning and adjustment.

In March 20 18, the plan for deepening the reform of the party and state institutions proposed that in order to enhance and show cultural self-confidence, adhere to the road of cultural development in Socialism with Chinese characteristics, coordinate the development of cultural undertakings, cultural industries and tourism resources, improve the soft power of national culture and the influence of Chinese culture, integrate the responsibilities of the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Administration, and set up the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a component of the State Council. From July 2065438 to July 2008, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Three Definitions" plan of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and then the institutional reform plans were announced one after another in various places. Since then, tourism and culture have been placed under the same administrative organization, and in accordance with the principle of "integrating when appropriate, integrating when possible, promoting tourism by literature, and promoting literature by tourism", we have explored the road of integrated development in development concepts, working methods, industrial guidance, public services and so on.

In addition to the establishment of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the establishment of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the adjustment of the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau are also worthy of attention. The establishment of the Ministry of Natural Resources embodies the original intention of "uniformly exercising the owner's responsibility of natural resources owned by the whole people" and plays a fundamental role in solving the traditional stubborn disease of decentralized management of tourism natural resources. With the establishment of the National Park Administration (under the State Forestry and Grassland Administration), the construction of national parks also has a direct management subject. So far, the unified management system of cultural tourism resources and natural tourism resources has been established separately, which may solve the cross-management problem that has long plagued the development of tourism to some extent. Building a national park system with China characteristics is a systematic change in development concept and management mode, which will affect the management and development of many scenic spots.

(B) the new round of opening up, the tourism industry has high hopes.

1. Deepen the pilot of innovative development of service trade.
