The most beautiful ancient village attractions in Pingdingshan
There is only one most beautiful ancient village attraction in Pingdingshan, which is Li Dukou Village.
Li Dukou Village is located on the bank of the Blue River, and the village was formed because of the ferry. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the Li family moved in from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province, and began to call this place Li Dukou Village. A stone tablet in the village records that during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, this place was called Li Dukou Town, which was renamed in 1934 to belong to the three districts of Jiaxian County, and then belonged to Tsuketou Town in 1947, and was renamed Li Dukou Village in 1984 to belong to Tsuketou Town.
There are 830 traditional buildings in Li Dukou Village, including 630 buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a total floor area of more than 20,000 square meters, of different scales and shapes, with the Central Plains architectural style as the main one and compatibility with the Dukou Hub culture, which are in clusters with clear origins.
The representative architectural clusters of Li and the wind old house, Li Zhiyin residence, Li and the three former residence, Jia Jiqing old house, Li Qiliang old house, Li's ancestral hall, Jia with the Wa old house, Li Prop present residence, Huachang cigarette factory and so on more than 20 places. Not only large-scale, but also its historical neighborhoods, ancient streets, water systems, environmental features and other aspects of the basic maintenance of the traditional pattern.
Architectural Characteristics of Li Dukou Village
Among the traditional buildings of Li Dukou Village, there are about four or five buildings of the Ming Dynasty, the vast majority of them are buildings of the Qing Dynasty, and a small portion of them were built during the Republican Period. Among them, there are one into two mansions and one into three mansions, the big one has more than 700 square meters, and the smallest one has more than 200 square meters. The best-preserved ones are mainly concentrated on both sides of the main street of Li Dukou village, and some stores still have hitching stones on their walls.
Li Dukou village of the Ming Dynasty architecture and Qing Dynasty architectural style is generally very close, there are only individual places are different, such as the door, Ming Dynasty buildings open the door in the middle of the house, the door to the house to reach out, leaving about a meter wide eaves.
Ming Dynasty buildings have larger eaves, is to accommodate wandering beggars. Because the Ming Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang once asked for food, so the beggar is very sympathetic to the beggar, it is required that each house has a large eaves, in order to prepare for rain and snow beggars to stay.
