Fishermen's customs and habits
After many years of silence, the custom of "house boat" in Guanghai Town, Taishan, Guangdong Province to worship the Dragon King and the ceremony of "people on the shore" fighting dragon boats were excavated by local artists and combined into a "fishing festival" to worship the sea. This is the first time that the "fishing festival" with a history of more than 600 years appeared in the Spring Festival. It will become a specific custom in the Spring Festival every year and carry forward the endangered folk culture. In the performance of "Fishing Festival", more than 20 fishermen's women wearing hats and fishermen's costumes are in front, followed by eight big men carrying a wooden fishing boat, and more than 20 mighty and handsome dragon boys holding Guang Hai Xiaolong, performing a magnificent and enthusiastic sea dance.
