The easiest way to hatch chickens

There are two simplest ways to hatch chickens, hen hatching and machine hatching.

First, hens hatch eggs.

Hens hatch chicks, which is the most common method in rural areas, mainly by using the habit of hens holding nests to hatch chicks. When hens hatch chickens with eggs in the countryside, they must first find a safer place for them. For example, put the hens alone in a relatively large cage in a relatively safe place, and then prepare enough chicken food and water. At the same time, the illumination and temperature of the hatching environment are good, and the optimum temperature for hens to hatch chicks is controlled between 32 ~ 465438 0℃.

Second, machine incubation.

First of all, we should choose the fertilized egg and make sure it is the egg laid by the hen in the last week. The incubator should be disinfected. Put the big head of the egg on the egg tray, spray it with diluted potassium permanganate solution, and raise the temperature to 20℃ during disinfection. The temperature of eggs should be controlled at about 38℃. Turn eggs during the first 1 ~ 18 days, once every 2 hours, and turn eggs at an angle of about 45 degrees.

Matters needing attention in selecting breeding eggs:

1, the shape and size of eggs should be appropriate. Each variety has a certain range of egg weight requirements, generally 55 ~ 65 grams is appropriate, and eggs exceeding the standard range 15% are not suitable for planting eggs.

2. The shape of the egg should be normal. The egg shape should be oval, and the egg shape index, that is, the ratio of the longitudinal diameter to the transverse diameter of the egg should be between 1.30 ~ 1.35.

3. The structure of eggshell should be normal. The surface texture of eggshell should be dense, uniform and smooth, without wrinkles or irregularities. "Sand-preserved eggs" with thin and rough shells and "steel-preserved eggs" with hard shells cannot be used for hatching. You can tap the eggs gently with your hands. If the sound of knocking by hand is brittle, it is a "steel preserved egg".

4. The color of eggshell should meet the variety standard. The eggshells of purebred chickens are the same color, and there are no spots on the eggshells.
