What is Bionic Dentistry
Bionic dentistry is one of these applications, including artificial dental implants (mostly referred to as this).
Artificial dental implants are a kind of bionic teeth made of biological materials, which are divided into two parts: the implant (the inner part of the root), which is implanted into the human jawbone to support the retention, and the crown, which bears the role of chewing. According to the changes in the alveolar bone and jawbone (commonly known as the dental bed) after the patient's tooth loss, the doctor chooses to use a computer to accurately calculate and process the dental implant to be implanted into the jawbone as a tooth root, and then installs the crown in the implant pile in the mouth to obtain the same form and function as natural teeth.
