Which traditional festival does Du Fu's poem Nine Days depict?
Nine Days is a poem written by Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. This poem describes what the hero sees and feels during the double ninth festival, and expresses his years of political frustration, lack of talents and ambitious mood.
It also expresses the poet's natural and carefree mentality. The language of the poem is simple and fresh, the style is bold and unrestrained, and the emotional color is strong.
Ninth session (1)
Today the clouds are fine, the water is green and the mountains are bright.
Carry a pot, tube Liuxia (3), chrysanthemum will be cold and glorious (4).
The earth is far away from the ancient rocks, and the wind blows the strings clear.
Peep at the smiling face [5] and laugh alone.
Drop your hat, get drunk in the mountains, and be born in a friend.
Sentence annotation
(1) The ninth day: the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, commonly known as the Double Ninth Festival. The ancients thought that nine was a positive number, so this day was also called Double Ninth Festival.

⑶ Liu Xia: Every time a fairy drinks a cup, she won't be hungry for months. See Lun Heng Dao Xu. This refers to wine.
(4) (qiā n) Chrysanthemum: Fold the chrysanthemum by hand. Answer the phone. Pam: Soak wine with chrysanthemums. Cold light, or cold flowers, means chrysanthemums.

This move was repugnant in the elegant Wei and Jin Dynasties. Sun Sheng's composition was ridiculed, and Meng Jia improvised: "I was drunk and watched the wind fall off my hat, dancing and loving the bright moon to keep people." Beautiful words, shocking words. Later generations used this code to describe the literati as informal and natural.
