If we want to carry out non-dormancy culture, we should first build a constant temperature greenhouse suitable for centipede growth. The constant temperature greenhouse should be built in a secluded place away from the use of pesticides. In order to achieve the purpose of thermal insulation in winter, when building walls, double-layer internal and external brick walls are generally built, commonly known as "two or four walls plus one or eight walls", with perlite, vermiculite, cotton and other thermal insulation materials filled in the middle, and then the surface is polished with cement or lime. Greenhouse generally has six windows, three high and three low, which is beneficial to ventilation. Practice has proved that only by building such a thick wall can the greenhouse maintain an ideal temperature in the severe winter season. In arid areas in the north, such as Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places, greenhouse with vegetable cellar can be built, and the thick soil layer underground can be used to maintain the appropriate temperature.

In the cold season of March 9, the indoor temperature must be kept above 20℃. If it is lower than this ideal temperature, it is difficult for centipede to grow rapidly. According to the topography, the greenhouse is generally 10 meter long and 5 meters wide, facing south, which is easy to light and heat up. The building materials of the simple shed are red brick or cement brick, bamboo pole, wooden stick, plastic film, cement, lime, straw mat, etc. , generally can be bought in urban and rural areas.
