What's the difference between Taekwondo, Karate, Boxing, Judo and Sanda?
Karate uniforms are generally pure white, with the name of Dojo organization embroidered on the left chest, and sometimes small characters such as the owner's name appear on the hem. The dress is cardigan, the left skirt is pressed against the right skirt and fastened with a belt. The sleeve length is generally near the elbow, and there will be some differences in different halls. Belts are usually solid colors.
Taekwondo suits are generally white, with black collars and badges. The name and nationality of the club can be printed on the back of the hem of the coat. This dress is in the shape of a pullover and fastened with a belt. Taekwondo has the concept of "middle belt", that is, the belt may have two colors at the same time.
2. Grades of different colors
Karate belts are graded from low to high, including white, orange, red, blue, yellow, green, blue, coffee and black, with the first 8 grades.
Taekwondo from low to high is: white, white and yellow, yellow, yellow-green, green, green-blue, blue-red, red, red-black, black, and the previous stage is *** 10.
3. Different skills:
Karate often uses both hands and feet in competitions. In the routine, the manipulation is the main method, and the leg method is a straight line. Take Kobayashi Liu Quan Club as an example. Among the eight sets of moves that must be mastered before the black belt, only the simple straight leg method such as forward kick appears, and the advanced type can be seen by side kick, and the straight leg method is also the main one. However, in the actual competition, there will also be back kicks (taekwondo is called horizontal kicks), side kicks, back kicks and other actions, but most of them are very calm and solid, and there are few aerial leg movements and turning movements.
Taekwondo generally uses the leg method more than the fist method in the competition. There are many routines (qualities) with legs. Judging from the first set of routines, the legs are offensive and defensive. In the competition, there are many air legs and turning legs, and the movements are sharp and natural.
4, the actual combat rules are different:
There are many rules in karate actual combat, the common ones are: full contact (characterized by boxing without hitting the head, generally wearing less protective gear), inch stop (scoring with one blow or knockout, wearing no protective gear or only a small amount of protective gear), protective gear (hitting with full protective gear) and so on. And the rules are becoming more and more inconsistent.
The actual combat rules of Taekwondo are relatively unified. Basically, you need to wear a full set of protective gear to score or knock down the effective part with the leg method, and the low leg method (kicking below the opponent's belt) does not score.
