What are the main grottoes with murals in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties? What are the characteristics?

During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, there were mainly Qizil Grottoes and Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes which preserved murals. Among them, the contents of Buddhist murals are mainly stories about students and their origins, advocating asceticism of humiliation and self-sacrifice. Murals have created images of Buddha, Bodhisattva, Tian Fei and geisha. On the basis of the painting tradition of Han Dynasty in China, they were obviously influenced by Indian and Gandhara Buddhist art, showing bold absorption of foreign painting methods. In terms of techniques, it shows the characteristics of rich and gloomy colors, bold and powerful brushwork and full and changeable composition.
