What is the style of Russian song and dance?

Russian folk dance is an indispensable entertainment program in many folk festivals and entertainment evenings. The music accompanying these dances is mostly short dance music sung in the form of solo or duet, or music played by folk instruments.

There are a large number of dance music circulating in Russian folk, with humorous content, lively tunes and square structure, which can be improvised and suitable for accompaniment or solo. The tunes of dance music generally come from folk songs, but there are also some special dance music, such as Karin Nushka, mirka, Aquino Chika and so on.

Russian national musical instrument culture is relatively developed, and almost everyone can play musical instruments. Common folk musical instruments include Bayan, guitar, mandolin and Balalaika. "Balalaika" is a unique Russian folk musical instrument, which is called "grand piano" because of its triangular shape.

It belongs to a stringed instrument with a long flat handle. Scales with white bone fragments are embedded in front of the handle, and the upper part of the handle is slightly carved, with four strings standing obliquely. In the middle and lower part of the speaker, there is a piano code with strings, usually fixed at four degrees, with five or six shapes of high, medium and low.

Among them, tenor Balalaika has the brightest and clearest timbre, usually played by mandolin, guitar and accordion. It is deeply loved by young people and widely spread among people.

Instrumental music is mostly developed on the basis of Russian folk songs by adding flowers to the melody or decomposing changing chords. It is usually performed with songs, dances and choruses at parties, and musicians usually have high performance skills and changes. Famous music includes Dear, Carabasse Card and so on.
