Why do comedians wear Qing Dynasty tunic and not Chinese dress?

There is more than one kind of tunic, there is the Qing Dynasty tunic and the Republic of China tunic, the kind of tunic worn by the comedian is all the Republic of China tunic, I haven't seen a tunic wearing the Qing Dynasty to say the comedy, although more similar, but a closer look or it is not difficult to find the difference, as far as my limited knowledge of the tunic, I found that there is a difference between these: 1. The Republic of China tunic is all stand-up, and the Qing Dynasty is a rounded collar. 2. Simplicity, the color is generally a single color, mainly blue, gray and cyan, there will be no decorative colors and decorative patterns, while the Qing Dynasty tunic is the opposite, 3.
