Vietnamese Deng Tong Temple

It has been more than 300 years since Vietnam joined the Temple of the Soul. The pavilions of the temple are magnificent and belong to the typical traditional architecture of China. China couplets in various fonts, such as "Spring at first" and "Forever Blessing", are engraved all over the temples, and there are elements of China everywhere.

On the 10 day of the Lunar New Year, Viet Nam held an annual temple fair in Deng Tong, and Deng Tong opened its doors to welcome China people to participate in the temple fair for sightseeing and business activities. On that day, 25 yuan could easily go abroad, visit temple fairs or engage in business activities with Pingxiang and Vietnam without going through entry and exit passes. It is very attractive for China people to appreciate exotic customs. It is said that about 654.38 million China tourists attend temple fairs in Deng Tong every year. On the day of the temple fair, the Vietnamese side held an annual sacrificial ceremony in Lingci, praying for good weather, peace and prosperity in the new year. During the ceremony, gongs and drums were loud, lions danced wildly, firecrackers rang and pilgrims prayed. The ceremony is the same as the folk ceremony in China, which may be one of the reasons why the temple fair attracts many tourists from China every year.
