The highest lake in the world, a place you can't forget at a glance
It used to be the largest saltwater lake in Tibet until it was surpassed by Selinchu (the area is increasing year by year) in recent years. /kloc-In the 20th century, the founder of Darron Kagyu School studied here. He was the first person to open a lake in the Year of the Sheep. In the reincarnation of 12, countless believers came here not far from Wan Li, bowing down and making a pilgrimage by the lake.
In the hearts of Tibetans, mountains and lakes are gods. They wandered among the snow-capped mountains and lakes, praying like gods in their hearts. Formed the custom of turning mountains into lakes.
However, the sacred images we saw in the documentary have gradually changed. Because the journey is really long and hard. Now many locals don't pay homage like this. Instead, use a four-wheel drive to cross the lake, which can be completed in about 10 hour.
Do you think this is not religious enough? Indeed, in countless documentaries about Tibet's turning mountains, we saw the locals from Wan Li, and the images of worshipping all the way were so shocking. This is the power of faith and sincere reverence. Now horses and chariots are fast, and people are impetuous. Everything is only about the purpose, even if the lake is completed, it is achieved. In fact, the meaning of turning the lake itself is definitely not the moment when it reaches the end, but the tenacity in the process of worshipping around the lake.
But Namco's spiritual significance in people's minds is still very strong and will not be replaced. It has never been a paradise, but it is the most special and unique place, with the highest lake on the plateau.
The first scenic spot I will meet here will be Nagenla Pass, which is the first time in my life to go to the highest altitude, 5 190 meters above sea level. The flags here are flying in the wind, and the raging wind makes me feel awe. In fact, there is no good shooting angle here, but it is the highest altitude before going to Namco.
Compared with Nagenla Pass, Nyainqentanglha Mountain is a world-famous place with many background stories. Its location is on our way to Namco, which takes about 1.5 hours. The mountain we met on the left is. The main peak of Nyainqentanglha Mountain is 7 1 17 meters above sea level.
There are too many versions of legends here. Probably in ancient times, Nyainqentanglha Mountain was the patron saint of Buddhism, and Namco was the saint of Tianhu. They were lovers and later offended one of the gods. A sudden snowstorm, Tanggula and his wife parted ways, looking for those cattle and sheep lost in the snowstorm. The snowstorm lasted for a month. All the creatures on the grassland froze to death. Cattle and sheep have not been spared. Tanggula was furious, had a big fight with Dong Mingshen, and was finally driven underground by the other side.
Then Tanggula was saved by a girl. But I lost my memory and only remembered the girl who saved me in front of me. Then I forgot my old friend and married this girl. After a long time, suddenly one day, Tanggula regained his memory, and he remembered Namco, who had been with him. When he came back, his beloved wife had turned into a lake and a river, and the grief-stricken Tanggula had turned into a towering mountain range. Since then, I have been with my wife day and night.
Perhaps because of these sad stories, when you look at Nyainqentanglha Mountain, you will feel aura, as if this majestic mountain hovering around Namco is really such a true and touching story.
Before I came, Namtso in my heart was unattainable, not only the roof of the world in geographical position, but also the roof of the world in religious field. But after I went to Namco, I thought maybe it was no longer the same. Frankly speaking, this is not Namtso in my mind. Completely changed by business. Even if you want to take the shuttle bus from Lhasa, you are lost. This holy place has been monopolized by travel agencies. A classic one-day tour is to take a bus for several hours, arrive at noon, enjoy the lake view for two hours and then turn back. The classic two-day tour is not much different, but it is a journey of sunrise and sunset.
I also met a terrible thing in Namco. I'm taking pictures of the lake. Suddenly, a group of local children rushed over and surrounded me, saying that their sheep had been photographed in my camera. I instinctively took out my camera and looked at it, zooming in and out. Sure enough, there is a sheep head on the other side of the lake in the picture. Finally, I had no choice but to delete the photo, but I still couldn't put it down. I can only take money to appease.
In fact, I checked a lot of pit avoidance guides before I came, and I was already wary. Except for the clearly marked shooting props, I paid great attention to avoiding the places where I couldn't shoot, but I still couldn't avoid the sheep's head on the other side of the river. This is my special helplessness and regret for Namco. I didn't go to see how to play in such a beautiful place before I came, but I still have to pay close attention to these pit avoidance guides. So is this still an unattainable place on the roof of the fresh and refined world?
Before I set out, I bought a lot of sweets and school gadgets, because I once read a book in which the author went to a remote place in Tibet to teach, where the villagers were simple and not contaminated with a trace of dust. They were ecstatic at the sight of lollipops. I don't think I can do anything. It is also good if you can bring some happiness to others on the way. As a result, the children I met in the streets of Lhasa refused to give me candy, pencils and erasers even if I wanted money. In Namco, I was surrounded by a group of children. I thought they would like candy. However, they just want me to pay cash.
I still love Tibet as always, and Qian Shan is a place that can't be abandoned. Under the Antarctic glacier, it is still ice as always, while under the glaciers in Tibet, peach blossoms have already opened. It is precisely because of this nourishment that highland barley yak, prayer flags and Hada came into being. I love Tibet very much, but I can't look forward to it as I did before I came to Namco.
Yes, Namco is still beautiful. I also took a lot of photos. Read it again after many years, and still feel beautiful. But this is no longer a pure land without dust. If we go to a place earlier, we may be able to catch a breath we want to keep.
I don't know if the holy mountain of Gangrinboqi has been changed by vulgar impurities. But the real pure land is in a distant place that is difficult to reach. The truly beautiful place in Tibet must be an unknown place that we have not yet reached. I really hope that one day I can cross the mountains and seas to worship.
