In order to further strengthen the inheritance and innovation of Yandi Shennong culture, the 2021 Suizhou Yandi IP Cultural and Creative Design Competition, which is organized by the Propaganda Department of Suizhou Municipal Party Committee of the People's Government of the People's Republic of China ****, co-sponsored by Chinese Chinese Character and Glyphic Information Committee of Chinese Chinese Information Society, and hosted by Wuhan University's School of Urban Design and Tencent, was was officially launched.
This activity is specially planned to meet the "Xin Chou World Chinese Yandi Hometown Roots Festival", and with the theme of "Creation - Undertaking", we sincerely invite national design talents (teams) to focus on "Yandi culture", highlighting innovation and inheritance. "to highlight the requirements of innovation and inheritance, dig deep into the cultural connotation of Yandi, explore the cultural elements of Yandi, and design creative works with originality, commemorative and practicality, to meet the needs of Suizhou City's cultural and tourism publicity.

Summary of the competition
(1) The theme of the competition is to explore the cultural connotation of the Yandi Emperor and explore his cultural elements.

(2) Background: Yandi's IP image and creative product design
Chinese people all over the world call themselves the children of Yan Huang, and Yandi is honored as the originator of the humanities of the Chinese nation. Yandi Shennong made Lei and Plowshares and taught the people to plow; he tasted all kinds of herbs and invented medicine; he treated hemp as cloth and made clothes; he made the market in the middle of the day and advocated trading; he cut tung for the qin and practiced silk for the strings; he strung the wood for the arc and helicoptered the wood for the vectors; he made the pottery for the utensils and smelted the catty and axe; and he lived on the platforms and resided in the city, living and working in peace and contentment. It is a symbol of the unity and struggle of the Chinese nation.
Three, registration instructions

(2) Time of the Competition
1. 2. Submission of works: From April 09, 2021 to May 23, 2021, send the electronic files of the works to the designated contact email address (469160169@qq.com), and in the subject of the email, please indicate "Yandi IP works +". School name or individual name or unit (team) name + name of design work".
3. Selection of works: From May 24, 2021 to May 31, 2021, all the works will be displayed online by Tencent; the organizer will invite famous experts in related fields to evaluate and determine the winners.
4. Award Announcement: June 01, 2021 - June 05, 2021, the organizer will announce the list of winners through online media, and the commissioner will notify the specific individuals or teams.
5. On-site awards: June 06, 2021, the winners will be invited to participate in the Yandi Shennong Culture Forum and Yandi Cultural and Creative Excellence Conference in Suizhou (the winners will be responsible for food and lodging during the conference by the organizer, and the round-trip trip costs at their own expense, and the above arrangements, such as conflict with the provisions of the national epidemic prevention and control at that time need to be adjusted, will be notified separately).

V. Requirements of the Competition
(1) Design Requirements
1, the image of the Chinese humanities ancestor, cultural heroes and demeanor;
2, the image of a strong sense of recognition, innovative creativity, color coordination, artistic imagination. Color coordination, rich in artistic imagination;
3, the image has a brand marketing value, suitable for production and use in a variety of carriers;
4, the product is in line with the design concept of ecology, environmental protection, clean, comfortable, safe, beautiful;
5, the product takes into account the functionality of the product and other practical needs, which will help the promotion of the IP image;
6, overall layout Unified and coordinated, with visual coherence.
(2) Team Requirements
If you register as a team, the number of team members should not be more than 4, and you need to identify a liaison person who is responsible for the competition liaison and other related matters; each participating team can invite 1 instructor. The list of team members cannot be changed once the registration is confirmed.
(3) Requirements
1. The competition takes the myth, legend and historical story of Yandi Shennong as the background of the design, and the design includes: (1) the IP image of Yandi Shennong, i.e., the form of the abstract character that conforms to the public's aesthetics; (2) the use of the image, combined with a certain kind of demand in life (the combination of Suizhou's industry and the actuality of Suizhou's special agricultural and sideline products is encouraged), to design cultural and creative products of a practical nature. Practical cultural and creative products. The categories of cultural and creative products include, but are not limited to: apparel accessories, office gifts, daily necessities, product packaging (see Attachment 2 for an overview of Suizhou's industries), and so on.
2. The design is laid out on a horizontal A1 drawing board (594 mm high, 841 mm wide) in JPG format with a resolution of 300 dpi; the drawing board should contain the IP image design, the design of the cultural and creative products, as well as conceptual explanations;
3. The cultural and creative products part of the entries should be provided with the standard three-view drawings, at least one rendering, with expected materials marked in addition to the conceptual explanations. The expected materials must be indicated.
4. The design of the entries focuses on the combination of traditional culture and modern science and technology, artistic value and practical function, creative design and market demand, and emphasizes the innovative design of traditional craftsmanship and traditional materials, so as to design more cultural and creative products in line with the modern aesthetic demand. Entries should focus on uniqueness, originality, purity, and have a certain degree of foresight and advancement, and are not easily homogenized with products in the current market.

Seven, the relevant statements
(a) This competition does not charge any fees such as registration fee, evaluation fee.
(ii) Declaration of originality
The final entries are all original works of the participants and do not infringe any patents, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of any other person. At the same time, works that have already participated in any form of tournament activities are declined. Otherwise, they will be disqualified from the competition, shortlisted and awarded, the prizes and certificates will be withdrawn, and we reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility. The organizing committee has nothing to do with any copyright or intellectual property disputes arising from the entries.
(3) Intellectual Property Rights of Entries
The Organizing Committee owns the copyright rights of the entries (preliminary and final) other than the right of authorship, including but not limited to the right of distribution, right of exhibition, right of dissemination of information networks, right of publication, right of use, etc., and will not pay any additional fees. The designer has the right of authorship. Non-related units and individuals are not allowed to use it in any form without authorization.
(4) The entries shall not contain any words, patterns, marks and other symbols not related to the design program that are related to the participant's name or organization, and those who do not comply with the regulations will be regarded as invalid entries and be disqualified from the competition.
(5) The schedule and time arrangement of the competition shall be subject to the competition documents issued regularly.
(6) Anyone who registers for the contest is deemed to recognize the provisions of this contest announcement, and the final interpretation of matters related to this contest shall be vested in the organizing committee of the contest.
