Which of the four ancient Chinese academies is located in Jiangxi Province
White Deer Cave Academy is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, Mount Lu five old peaks, built in the Tang Dynasty during the years of Zhenyuan, the Southern Song Dynasty, the famous scholar Zhu Xi had lectured here. By the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the academy was destroyed due to war, and large-scale repairs were carried out in the first year of Zhengtong of the Ming Dynasty (1436). In the 24th year of the Qing Dynasty, the school was renamed as a school, and was closed in the 29th year of the Qing Dynasty. 1988, the school was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Bailu Cave Academy is one of the four major academies in China, along with Yingtian Academy, Chongyang Academy and Yuelu Academy. The most famous of them is the Yuelu Academy in Changsha, Hunan Province. Yuelu Shuyuan was built in 976 AD, the predecessor of Hunan University.
