Snail meal is not considered junk food.

Junk food is food that only provides some calories and no other nutrients, or food that provides more than what the body needs and becomes redundant, while snail meal is rich in ingredients and has some nutritional value, so snail meal can't be considered junk food.

Types of Junk Food

Junk food mainly includes fried food, pickled food, processed meat food, soda cola type drinks, convenience food. Fried food is high in calories and contains high levels of fats and oxidizing substances, which can lead to obesity; and in the process of deep-frying, a large number of carcinogenic substances are often produced. Pickled food in the pickling process, the need for a large number of salt, can produce a large number of carcinogenic substances nitrosamines.
