What kind of drama is the fairy couple?

Fairy matching is a kind of Huangmei opera.

Fairy Match is one of the "36 books" accumulated in the early stage of Huangmei Opera, which was compiled according to the story of Yong Dong's encounter with immortals in the Eastern Han Dynasty. The first book compiled was Biography of Yong Dong Encountering Immortals in Song and Yuan Dynasties. The earliest zaju was compiled in the Yuan Dynasty, and only one episode, Lu Yu, was compiled by Guo Xun in the Ming Dynasty.

By the Ming Dynasty, there were more than one Yong Dong opera performance in the south. It is said that Gu Juezai's brocade (also known as silk weaving and Huaiyin) is most closely related to Anhui Qingyang Opera. The whole drama has long been lost, and only "Huaiyin Parting" is included in all versions of Qingyang Opera in Ming Dynasty as a drama.
