The difference between urban and rural funerals in China now.
At present, there is no difference between urban and rural funerals. If the deceased was an official, his funeral may have been organized by the unit and made like that. If an ordinary person dies, it is not much different from a funeral in the countryside. You have to set up a mourning hall to hold a banquet and wear a shroud, but the scale is small and the procedure is simple. I'm afraid there are no gongs and drums, because the noise control in urban areas is strict. When my grandfather died, the mourning hall was built indoors to control the noise. It can be said that it is a reduced version of rural funeral. But the final result is the same, sent to the cremator.
