The Life of the Characters in Chen Zizhuang's Works

Chen Zizhuang (19131015-1July 3, 976), also known as Jin Si, is the owner of Lanyuan, Nanyuan, Xialiba and Twelve Trees Plum Bookstore. In his later years, he used straight painting and calligraphy stone pots.

When Chen Zizhuang was a child, his family was very poor. When he was six or seven years old, he received enlightenment education in a private school. When he was a child, he took a keen interest in painting. While herding cattle and painting, I learned martial arts from the famous boxer Peng Shui, Lao Liu, Ba and Xie Brown. Later, he became a martial arts expert in southwest China.

At first glance, this is a typical painting style of Chen Zizhuang. At this time, Chen Zizhuang landscape painting has entered a free realm. Chen Zizhuang enjoyed the freedom and happiness of artistic creation with his hard work and the heavy price of prematurely consuming his life in an era when his life was the hardest, his spirit was the most depressed and his thoughts were severely imprisoned.

1972 In March, Chen Zizhuang went to Longquan Mountain to sketch. After returning to Chengdu, he sorted out 34 sketches of Longquan Mountain. From June+10 in 5438, more than 200 sketches were obtained along the lower reaches of Wuyang River and through Shuangliu, Pengshan and Renshou counties. After returning to Chengdu, I compiled 150 sketches of Wuyang River. 12 sketched in Fenghuang mountain in March, 1973. On June+10, 5438, I went to Jiajiang county to change Chinese painting paper and got dozens of sketches.

He is committed to painting and promoting national culture with the belief of "raising higher and drilling stronger". He also insisted on his own idea that "legislation should be based on business conditions" and constantly innovated in art.

Chen Zizhuang's representative works were exhibited in China Art Museum, and were highly praised by literary and art celebrities such as Fang Yi, Xiao Ke, Zhang Aiping, Wu Zuoren, Feng Qiyong, Qi Gong and Wu Guanzhong. The grand occasion of the exhibition "sensational Beijing and shocking the world" is rare since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
