What materials are needed for mylar painting

(1)Lime powder. can be developed into fine powder and sand grain, can be mixed with oil paint, but can not add too much, otherwise it will weaken the adhesion.

(2)Marble powder. Similar to lime powder, but this lime powder is hard and heavy, not easy to grind.

(3)Sand. Wash with water before use, easy to mix with oil pigment.

(4)Hematite powder. Needs to be mixed well with oil paint to get even texture. Not suitable for thick usage.

(5) Others. Glass, sawdust, weeds, etc. are used evenly.

Easy way to make texture painting:

(1)Use white powder or Lidl powder to mix white latex into a paste, use paintbrush or paint knife to make mottled brush marks texture in the desired place, or apply white powder paste on the bottom layer and use knives, combs, rollers and so on to make the desired texture.

(2) Dissolve Damar or Marti resin in turpentine and then mix the white pigment to reach a certain consistency and then use a brush or a large painting knife to create the desired texture on the canvas that has been scraped with glue. After the turpentine evaporates, the lead white will harden quickly (about two minutes), so it is important to time it appropriately; if it is too late, the paint will harden, and it will be difficult to create the texture.

(3) the use of acrylic paint or acrylic molding paste to make texture is very convenient, because the acrylic material dries quickly, can also be stacked. But if you use it on the oil base or the oil film after coloring, the acrylic paint is easy to peel off, so it should be sanded with sandpaper before use.

(4) During the painting process, you can make uneven and rough effect by thinning, thickening, thinning, thick and other color changes, borrowing the brushstrokes and knives directly, or mixing sand, sawdust, broken glass, bread crumbs, and other granular materials in the paint to make texture.
