Xiajiang County is a county under the jurisdiction of Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, which is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province and the north of Ji 'an City. It was called Yu Xia in ancient times, and it was named because the narrowest part of the Ganjiang River was located in the territory. It is adjacent to Xingan County in the northeast, Yongfeng County and Jishui County in the south, Ji 'an County in the west and Xinyu City in the northwest. The county covers an area of 1287.43 square kilometers, governs 6 towns, 5 townships, 84 administrative villages and 5 neighborhood committees, and has a population of10.8 million (20 13), and speaks Gan dialect. Xiajiang county has a developed logistics industry, ranking the top ten in the province and the first in the city.
