What has China done to protect and inherit minority cultures?

For a long time, the party and the government have been protecting, inheriting and carrying forward the excellent culture of ethnic minorities with a positive attitude, and have taken a series of measures to protect, inherit and carry forward the excellent culture of ethnic minorities. Generally speaking, there are four points:

First, formulate laws and regulations to protect the traditional culture of ethnic minorities. The Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Law on the Protection of Cultural Relics of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Law on Regional National Autonomy of People's Republic of China (PRC) all contain important provisions on inheriting, protecting and inheriting the excellent culture of ethnic minorities. Second, strengthen the protection of infrastructure and promote the traditional culture of ethnic minorities. Our government attaches great importance to the establishment of cultural centers, libraries and museums in minority areas. This year, ethnic minority areas are expected to achieve the goal of having cultural centers and libraries in the county. In the central and ethnic autonomous areas, there are professional performance teams of ethnic minorities, such as the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe in Beijing. Every year, ethnic autonomous areas send some outstanding and promising performing talents to Beijing, Shanghai and other universities for special training. As we all know, the Tibetan artist Dan Zhuo Ma was trained by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and the famous Miao soprano Song Zu Ying was trained by the art major of China University for Nationalities. A large number of backbone teams that inherit and carry forward the excellent culture of ethnic minorities are growing sturdily.

Fourth, set up an organization to ensure the inheritance and promotion of the excellent culture of ethnic minorities. The relevant state departments have set up special national cultural institutions to organize and coordinate the protection of excellent national cultures. For example, our State Ethnic Affairs Commission has a cultural propaganda department, which is responsible for this task. There are also many institutions that translate ethnic languages and ethnic publications. There are ethnic language translation centers in Beijing and ethnic language translation institutions in ethnic areas. In publishing, there are 37 ethnic publishing houses in China, which publish various books in 26 ethnic languages. In addition, every four or five years, we will also organize national traditional sports games and national cultural performances, which is also an important carrier for us to carry forward the excellent culture of ethnic minorities.
