Why does the tiger have a tattoo of the word "king" on his head?
It's not the word "king", it's a striped pattern. Tigers have been camouflaged for a long time to make hunting easier, and eventually their skin color evolved into striped markings. This stripe coincidentally resembles the character for "king", so people visualize this stripe as "king". In fact, most of our impressions of the character for "king" on the tiger's head come from artistic creations. Artists, out of the traditional Chinese knowledge of the tiger, use the character "king" to represent the pattern on the tiger's head, which is not only convenient for creation, but also has a very meaningful meaning! The pattern on the tiger's head just happens to be similar to the word "king", and people saw it and gave it some meaning themselves, nothing to do with natural selection.
