Rattan weaving technology

Generally speaking, rattan weaving has to go through more than a dozen processes, such as beating rattan (cutting off nodes on rattan), picking rattan, washing rattan, drying rattan, bending rattan, pulling rattan (planing rattan), cutting rattan, bleaching, dyeing, weaving and painting. Rattan weaving is mainly made of rattan branches, rattan cores or bamboo as the skeleton, and then woven with rattan skins or tender rattan cores, giving full play to the characteristics that rattan is soft and not easy to break.

In terms of color, the original rattan is mostly light yellow, or it is bleached into white and ivory, soft and elegant, and it is also matched with brown. Rattan furniture is made of thick rattan as the skeleton, nailed with nails, woven with rattan skin and rattan core, and finally painted or colored.
