Webster's dictionary for college students is favored by Americans mainly because it has a history of 150 years, and several generations of Americans have grown up under its nurturing. Its position in the United States is equivalent to China's Xinhua Dictionary. The vocabulary of GRE test is mainly based on Webster's University Dictionary!
