Mr. Zhang is a senior researcher at Shaanxi History Museum. I graduated from Xi Academy of Fine Arts in my early years with profound skills and unique opinions. In particular, he has been engaged in the restoration, copying and research of murals in Tang tombs in museums for a long time and has accumulated rich experience in copying murals. During this period, he received many instructions and guidance from Wang Ziyun, a leading figure in China's art world. Mr. Wang Ziyun gladly prefaced his "Mural Collection of Tang Tombs in China". Mr. Zhang was deeply influenced by Wang Lao's noble qualities of being indifferent to fame and fortune, devoting himself to research, ignoring personal gains and losses, and devoting his life to the cause of cultural relics protection. He lived in a simple life and embarked on a lonely journey of ascetic monks with a sense of responsibility and mission to make the lost national treasure reappear brilliantly, and with great respect for Chinese national culture. Finally, with superb skills, extraordinary perseverance and profound historical knowledge, Mr. Zhang waded through mountains and rivers, slept in the wind, starved and feared difficulties. He concentrated his infinite love for China culture in his works and traveled to 16 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. From Qin and Han dynasties to the Republic of China, the time span was 2 100 years. After 30 years' efforts, he finally finished this unprecedented masterpiece-Five Hundred Paintings of Murals in China.
