Up to now, Chaoyang District has published A Reader of Chinese Traditional Culture, A Collection of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Courses in Chaoyang District, and A Guide to the Construction of Excellent Traditional Culture Courses in Schools. , fully explored the typical experience of Chinese excellent traditional culture education and school curriculum construction in Chaoyang District, promoted the overall construction of Chinese excellent traditional culture education curriculum and promoted the overall development of the region. At present, more than 95% schools in the whole region have incorporated traditional culture education and teaching into the field of school-based teaching and research. Among them, schools such as Huada High School, Sanlitun No.1 Middle School and Eighty Sports School have set up special traditional culture courses, which are taught by full-time teachers. Some schools, such as the middle school affiliated to Capital Normal University, have also set up special national studies libraries and hired experts to train and give lectures to teachers on a regular basis.

On the basis of promoting Chinese excellent traditional culture education and school curriculum construction in the whole region, Chaoyang District was selected as the core area of Beijing traditional culture curriculum construction and the practice base of traditional culture curriculum education in primary and secondary schools of Beijing Normal University, 34 schools became experimental schools of "Beijing Chinese excellent traditional culture curriculum education" and 13 schools became the base schools of Beijing Normal University traditional culture curriculum education.
