What's the glass score?
Glass score is mainly evaluated from three aspects, that is, the patient's response to eyes opening, language and movement. Each aspect is divided into different sub-items to evaluate the patient's consciousness, such as whether the patient opens his eyes spontaneously or not, and different grades give different scores.
Degree of coma
The degree of coma is evaluated by the sum of e, v and m scores. The higher the score, the better the state of consciousness. /kloc-scores above 0/4 are normal, and scores below 7 are unconscious. The more serious the coma, the lower the coma index, and more than 3 points suggest brain death or poor prognosis.
Mild disturbance of consciousness (like sleeping but not sleeping): 13 to 14.
Moderate disturbance of consciousness (shallow coma): 9 to 12.
