What do formal photos of civil servant interviews look like?
The photo requirements for civil service examinations in various provinces and cities are not exactly the same. But most of them require a recent 2-inch front-facing ID photo with a blue background and no hat. You are not allowed to upload photos that do not meet the requirements such as artistic photos or daily life photos, otherwise you will not be able to take the exam.
There is no special requirement to wear formal attire, a suit, or a normal ID photo. Of course, if you are dressed formally, the photo will be better.
