Significance of sampling estimation
Smoking estimation, also known as sampling inference, is based on the data inference of sampling survey, that is, using the quantitative characteristics of some units obtained from sampling survey to estimate and calculate the quantitative characteristics of the whole population. Sampling estimation is another important method to describe the population. It has the characteristics of low cost, strong applicability and high science. Therefore, sampling inference is widely used to collect and analyze statistical data in many fields at home and abroad
Characteristics of sampling estimation:
1. Sampling estimation uses inductive reasoning method.
2. Sampling estimation uses probability principle.
3. There is some sampling error in the conclusion of sampling estimation.
This is a common method in statistical probability. According to the content of the survey, randomly select the respondents, and then calculate the percentage of the total number of sampling surveys that meet the standards. Finally, the number that meets the standard can be calculated by multiplying this percentage by the number of required surveys.
