What is Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism?
Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, collectively known as the "three religions", began in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. After the middle of the 6th century, China culture gradually formed a tripartite confrontation between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. After the discussion and integration of the three religions in Sui and Tang Dynasties, the confluence of the three religions has been formed in the Northern Song Dynasty and has become the mainstream of society since the Ming Dynasty. The main function of Confucianism is, of course, to "govern the world", which is a thought of governing the country and establishes the etiquette norms and laws and regulations of China traditional society. The main function of Taoism is to "heal the body" and lead an immortal life, which is what China people always yearn for. The function of Buddhism is mainly to "treat the mind", which has obvious advantages in eliminating troubles and cultivating the mind.
