Shehuo is an ancient folk art form in the northwest of China, which refers to all kinds of juggling and acrobatic performances to meet the gods in sacrificial ceremonies and festivals.
The social fires in Longdong are similar to those in other parts of the country, which can be traced back to ancient times and originated from ancient sacrificial ceremonies. It is also a way for people to express their piety and admiration for the gods. Many yangko teams in Longdong Shehuo have preserved many traditional customs.
