The Fourth Batch of Traditional Villages in China

In order to further strengthen the protection and utilization of "China Traditional Villages" and clearly declare the tasks and requirements of the fourth batch of "China Traditional Villages", the state organized and held the fourth batch of "China Traditional Villages" work dispatch meeting in Jishou, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture on 20 15126. Responsible persons of state, county and city offices, Housing and Construction Bureau, Wenguang New Bureau, Cultural Relics Bureau, Photographers Association and other relevant departments attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Xinchun. Tang Zhongtong, deputy director of the State Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, reported on the protection and utilization of traditional villages in our state, and put forward specific requirements for declaring the fourth batch of "China traditional villages" and the third batch of "China traditional villages" protection and development projects. Gao, deputy director of the State Bureau of Culture, Film and Television, and Long Jingsha, deputy director of National Cultural Heritage Administration made important speeches at the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that the application time is tight and the task is heavy. All counties and cities should attach great importance to it, arrange special teams and implement work funds. The meeting asked the county and city offices to take the lead and the Housing and Construction Bureau to undertake it specifically. The cooperation of Wenguang New Bureau, Cultural Relics Bureau, Photographers Association and other units ensured that the application for heritage was completed on time.

According to statistics, by the end of 20 14 and 12, Quanzhou had established 176 files of traditional villages, among which 29 villages were successfully selected into the "List of Chinese Traditional Villages" and 9 villages were included in the first and second batch of central financial support lists respectively.
