Gaze is the more widely used indicator in eye movement studies.

First gaze point: the location where the person faces the stimulus source and gazes for the first time. It is often related to the person's point of interest (anxiety point). However, it may also be influenced by the physical characteristics of the picture of the stimulus source in front of the person's eyes, such as color, strange shapes, dangerous movements, etc.

Eye hopping is an action that is performed by shifting the line of sight from an old point to a new one. Internal eye-hopping distance: the angle between two points of gaze when shifting from the previous point of gaze to the next point of gaze. The area of the stimulus source where the eye-hopping distance is small is where the person's point of interest (anxiety point) is located.

Blinking is a rapid closing of the eyes. The person concerned will produce negative emotions under the stimulation of a negative stimulus source that is unfavorable to him or her. In order to avoid the harm that the stimulus source will bring to him or her, the person concerned will usually make a blinking action to avoid the impact of the visual information. When the person concerned has a weak heart, there will be a high frequency of blinking behavior.
