How to sing bamboo songs in Hakka folk songs?

As a form of folk songs, bamboo songs are very popular in Yongding. In the past, this kind of song was often sung by beggars or blind people who came to visit the village from other places. People call it "begging for songs". Later, most of them were sung by local people, often in the slack season or holiday night, in the tulou or Zhaping. The singer was full of emotions, and the audience was fascinated by it, and refused to leave late at night.

When singing, the singer holds four bamboo boards engraved with sawtooth shapes, three in his left hand and one in his right hand, or knocks, knocks, or saws to produce different rhythms.

The lyrics are all seven-character poems, which are divided into four-sentence boards and five-sentence boards. Traditional programs include With Liang Sizhen, butterfly lovers, Xue Dongzheng, Fifteen Passes and so on.
