Brief introduction of Anhui culture:

Anhui Province is one of the important birthplaces of prehistoric civilization in China. Renzidong, Fanchang County discovered the site of human activities about 2.5 million years ago. The Paleolithic site of "Hexian Ape Man" excavated in Longtan Cave of Hexian County, 300,000-400,000 years ago, shows that human beings lived and multiplied in this land of Anhui in ancient times.

Hualong Cave, Zhoukoudian, Anhui Province, was excavated in dongzhi county 400,000 years ago, and the Shuangdun site was discovered in Bengbu about 7,000 years ago. It is the earliest Neolithic cultural relic found in the middle reaches of Huaihe River, and it is a powerful evidence of early civilization in Huaihe River basin. There are thousands of Neolithic cultural sites in Anhui and its adjacent areas.
