Introduction of Yangzhou Lacquerware Painting Techniques
Yangzhou lacquerware is one of the traditional handicrafts of Han nationality in China, and its origin is Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It has a long history, complete varieties, exquisite skills and unique style, and enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad. Its products mainly include various screens, hanging screens, cabinets, tables and chairs, bottles and cans, bowls and boxes, tea sets, smoking sets, Four Treasures of the Study and tourist souvenirs. On May 20th, 2006, Yangzhou lacquerware painting technique was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
