Gongxian Kiln is an important porcelain kiln in Tang Dynasty, located in Gongxian County, Henan Province. Kiln burning began in Sui Dynasty, flourished in Tang Dynasty and declined in the early Five Dynasties. During the Kaiyuan period, tribute porcelain was burned for the imperial court.
The altar mouth is turned outwards, with short neck, rich shoulders and bulging abdomen, and the flat bottom gradually converges downwards.
