Fu Peirong, born in Shanghai, 1950. He studied under the philosophy master Mr. Fang Dongmei. Master, Institute of Philosophy, Taiwan Province Provincial University; Ph.D. from Yale University, USA; Professor of Philosophy Department of Taiwan Province University. He was the head of the Department of Philosophy of Taiwan Province Provincial University, the director of the Institute of Philosophy, a visiting professor at Leiden University in the Netherlands and Leuven University in Belgium, and taught the Analects of Confucius to Europeans for two years. Taiwan Province Minsheng University was rated as the hottest professor. Awarded the teaching excellence award by the education department of Taiwan Province Province. His works have won the Chiang Kai-shek Cultural Award and the highest literary prize in Taiwan Province Province. Since 17 was opened in National Taiwan University, its "Philosophy and Life" course has been packed with tens of thousands of students, and it has been selected as the best general course by college students' associations. Professor Fu is also an outstanding speaker. Since 1990, he has given more than 200 lectures on philosophy every year.
