How do you see the impact of the growth of e-commerce on our economy? Good or bad?

China's economic growth has made remarkable achievements for the world, with an average annual growth rate of more than 9% since 1978, and the current per capita GDP has reached 1,000 dollars. However, this traditional growth model, which has long relied on high investment and consumption, is unsustainable. For one thing, China's per capita possession of resources is lower than the world average, and the contradiction of insufficient arable land, water, oil, iron ore and other resources will become more and more prominent in economic development; for another, China's energy utilization efficiency is low, especially in the case of distorted prices of resources, which has encouraged the development of energy-consuming enterprises and indulged in sloppy operation; for another, closely related to the resource problem is the environmental problem, and in the early stage of economic take-off Third, closely related to the resource problem is the environmental problem, in the early stage of economic take-off, "development first, governance later" ideological domination, ecological environmental protection has been greatly neglected, and the development of industrialization and urbanization, and further lead to the deterioration of the ecological environment.

The article also points out that China's economic growth is currently facing two big themes: urbanization and comprehensive opening up. Only by firmly grasping these two themes can we understand the stage of development of China's economy and the path of value transfer in the industrial sector, as well as the economic and social environment it will face in the future.

The change in the flow of capital and the bias in capital formation both indicate that the dominant factor in China's economic growth has shifted from industrialization to urbanization. China's economic development has gone through two processes: first, industrialization determines urbanization, and second, urbanization pulls industrialization. During the period when industrialization determined urbanization, a large amount of resources flowed through the industrial sector, including the value created by industrialization itself and a large amount of value transferred from other sectors, such as tax concessions (three reductions and two exemptions), free use of industrial land, no social security for the labour force, the State's use of the banking system to provide cheap capital at low capital prices and large subsidies for infrastructure, tax rebates for exports and devaluation. The characteristics of this "distorted structure" of subsidized industrialization determine resource-intensive economic growth.

After urbanization became the dominant new economic growth, the order of value transfer must undergo a major change, the first is to eliminate the "structural distortions", the original artificially low prices gradually corrected according to the market, in this way the transformation of scarce resources revaluation becomes meaningful. The most priceless resources in China's industrial development are land, water and air, but in the process of urbanization they become the most scarce resources, so the adjustment of the price system is inevitable. Urbanization as a human-centered spatial agglomeration is characterized by the requirement of harmonious development of economy, society and nature, otherwise urban development will also step into the deformed development.
