The longest distance of cross-country skiing in men's world championships

1924 cross-country skiing was included in the first Winter Olympics because it is similar to the marathon of the Summer Olympics, also known as the snow marathon, and it is the longest distance of 50 kilometers in men's cross-country skiing in the World Championships.

Cross-country skiing has two technical rules, namely traditional technique and free technique. Traditional techniques include alternating sliding, double-stick push sliding, eight-step sliding without sliding table, sliding down and turning, etc., while free techniques have no restrictions on technical movements and can adopt any technique relatively freely.
