The difference between simplified characters and traditional characters
Simplified characters are folk characters formed by simple strokes in natural provinces, and the history of simplified characters is thousands of years. Note that only simplified characters that appear in the government simplified character scheme can be called simplified characters, otherwise they are not standard fonts, because there may be many simplified characters among the people, and only one of them is used in the simplified character scheme.
Traditional Chinese characters, compared with simplified Chinese characters, are new names given to traditional Chinese characters by the China government. The name didn't appear until 1956, when the China municipal government implemented the simplified Chinese character plan.
