What is the historical evolution of the School of Political Science and Law of Capital Normal University?

The history of the School of Political Science and Law of Capital Normal University can be traced back to 1955, the former Political Theory Teaching and Research Section of Beijing Normal University. After decades of inheritance, accumulation and development, the school has formed a good tradition of talent training, established a relatively complete talent training system from undergraduate to master and doctor, and delivered a large number of professionals to schools, party and government, judiciary, state-owned enterprises and institutions at all levels in Beijing and even the whole country. The college consists of departments of law, social work, political science and administration, and philosophy (among which the department of philosophy enrolls students every other year, but not this year), and has made new progress, new achievements, and new breakthroughs in personnel training, team building, discipline construction, scientific research, and social services.

There are 77 faculty members in the College of Political Science and Law, including 7 professors/kloc-0 and 27 associate professors. 9 doctoral tutors and 36 master tutors; Among the teachers, 57 have doctoral degrees and are studying for them. College is an important position of philosophy and social sciences in the school, covering four first-class disciplines: philosophy, law, politics and sociology. Existing philosophy postdoctoral research mobile stations and doctoral degree authorization points in philosophy first-class disciplines (8 doctoral programs in two disciplines); Two disciplines 17 master's degree authorization point, three first-class disciplines of philosophy, law and political science, master of law and master of social work.
