The correct method of double hook drift adjustment

The correct methods of double hook drift adjustment are Balanced Float Rig, Graded Float Rig and Parallel Float Rig.

1. Balanced Float Rig

Prepare a suitable fishing rod, fishing line and float. Fix a small lead on the line so that it can balance the weight of the float in the water. Attach an adjusting ring to the fishing line, then slide the float onto the line and adjust the position of the ring so that the float stays balanced.

Under the adjusting ring, two hooks are fixed to the fishing line by means of nodes or other suitable connections, and different sizes and types of hooks can be selected. Select a suitable lure and assemble it on the hooks, taking care to select it according to the characteristics of the target species.

Put the fishing line to a suitable fishing spot and observe the dynamics of the floater. When a fish bites the hook, the float will change significantly, so react quickly by lifting the rod and performing the correct fishing technique.

2. Differential Float Rig

Prepare a suitable fishing rod, fishing line and float. Fix a small lead pendant on the fishing line, which should be heavy enough to keep the floater balanced in the water. Attach a second adjusting ring at a certain distance from the float and connect the two rings together by means of a link.

Below each adjusting ring, by means of nodes or other suitable means, install two hooks. Different sizes and types of hooks can be selected. Select an appropriate lure and assemble it to the hooks. Cast the fishing line to a predetermined fishing spot and observe the dynamics of the floaters. Judge whether a fish is biting according to the changes in the floaters and react in time to perform the correct fishing technique.

3. Parallel Float Rig

Prepare a suitable fishing rod, fishing line and float, and if you need better stability, you can choose a float with two adjustable rings. Install the two adjusting loops on the fishing line, making sure they are properly spaced apart for hook installation.

Under each adjusting ring, install two hooks by nodes or other suitable means. Select appropriate lures and assemble them on the hooks. Cast the fishing line to a predetermined fishing spot and observe changes in the floaters. Determine whether a fish is biting based on the dynamics of the floater and react in time to perform the correct fishing technique.
