Handmade papermaking technology was listed in the fifth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage representative projects in Changsha on 20 16. Liuyang handmade paper originated in Song and Yuan Dynasties and flourished in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Zhang Fang Town's Gushan tribute paper was used by the government during the Qianlong period, which was called "Gushan tribute paper" in history. Liuyang Gushan tribute paper has a history of 200 years. It is made of tender bamboo fiber by hand. The paper is thin, greasy, absorbent and smooth. This is an excellent paper for writing, drawing and copying.
