Performance at China Puppet Theatre

In addition to performing puppet shows in China and other countries in the world, the theater can also perform various cultural programs such as song and dance, folk art, opera and acrobatics, and show movies. Since the completion of the theater, China Puppet Art Troupe has staged seven programs including traditional plays "Big Sky" and "Happy Festival", as well as foreign pantomime "Mermaid", "The Adventures of Pinocchio" and "Fairy Tales in Spring". The theater also receives performances from domestic and foreign troupes, such as Japanese Sugiyama Puppet Troupe, German Shadow Play Troupe and China Yangzhou Puppet Troupe. These performances were warmly welcomed by children in the capital. The "Little Star Theater" run by the theater insists on performing all the year round. Every Saturday and Sunday, it becomes a happy home for children. Puppet Club has attracted more than 2,000 small members, who often participate in various activities organized by the theater and become loyal small audiences of puppet shows.
