What is Peking Opera like and how did it come from?
Peking Opera, once known as Pingju Opera, also known as Luantan Opera and National Opera, is one of the five major operas in China. Known as the quintessence of China, it ranks first among the three leading operas in China and is the intangible cultural heritage of China and the world. The scene layout of Beijing opera pays attention to freehand brushwork, with Xipi and Huanger as the main tone, supplemented by huqin and gongs and drums. It is the crystallization of four Huizhou classes in the Qing Dynasty who successively entered Beijing, cooperated with Hubei Han tune artists, accepted some plays, tunes and performance methods of Kunqu opera and Shaanxi opera, and absorbed local folk tunes through continuous communication and integration. It toured all over the world and was an important medium to introduce and spread China's traditional art and culture.
